i remember Richard well in the mid 70s as a counselor at White Mountain. When issues came up wirh campers or whatever, he always was calm and had solutions to solving the problems. Remember outside the cabins before dinner discussing politics, future careers ,etc. One of my fellow counselors was going to work at the CIA and my last year at WM, i had been accepted to medical school at Va derbilt. We would kid the fellow counselor telling him no a nice jewish boy needs to be a doctor or lawyer . We weren’t serious about this and it was just some of the funny discussions we used to have. He had a good sense of humor and was always fun to be with.
