Rita Frenkel's Obituary
Rita Frenkel, 90, of Discovery Senior Living in Boynton Beach passed away Monday February 18, 2019. Rita formerly lived in Palm Greens in Delray Beach. Rita enjoyed painting, loved going to the opera and ballet, and participating in singing events in her community. She was the beloved wife of Hirsh Frenkel for 50 years until he passed away in 1997. Rita was the devoted mother of Theo (Dr. Barbi Kaplan-Frenkel) Frenkel, Ken (Ellen Tauber) Frenkel, and Sheryl Gordon; the loving grandmother of Brian (Amy), Michael (Jaimie), Max, Amy, Abby, Preston, and Rebecca; and the dear great grandmother of Haley, Jeremy, Carly, Kyle, and Dani. Rita also was the partner of Lou Baron for 18 years until he passed away 2 1/2 year ago. Chapel services will be held 1:45PM on Thursday February 21, 2019 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Rd., Boynton Beach, Florida 33437 followed by interment in Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach.
