Robert Straussman's Obituary
Robert Straussman, 77, of Valencia Shores in Lake Worth passed away Wednesday June 21, 2017. Robert and his adored wife Linda Singer-Straussman came to Florida from Wayne, New Jersey and first resided in Aberdeen in Boynton Beach prior to moving to their Valencia Shores home. Robert, known to his family and friends for his wry sense of humor, was an educator and administrator with the New York Pubic School System for many years prior to his retirement. In addition to the the love of his life, Linda, Robert leaves his devoted family, sons Saul (Kellee R. VanAken), David (Allison) Straussman; and Michael (Tami) Singer; daughters Hannah (David) Moore, and Pamela (Michael) Lutz; grandchildren Minrose Straussman, Eli Straussman, Joshua Moore, Harry Moore, Syd Moore, Lily Straussman, Eloise Straussman, Brittany Singer, Haley Singer, Holly Lutz, Jordan Lutz, and Mick Rehill; brother Jeffrey (Jeannie) Straussman, and aunt Ronnie Fixler. Chapel services will be held 9:30AM on Friday June 23, 2017 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 5808 West Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach, Florida 33484 followed by interment at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach. Rabbi Keren Gorban of Temple Sinai in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania will officiate.
