ROBERT ELLIS WOLK's Obituary
Robert Ellis Wolk, 62, of Weston, FL died peacefully after a long and brave cancer battle surrounded by his family on November 27, 2019.
Rob was born in Great Neck, NY on April 5th, l957 to Harold and Marjorie Wolk. He was the youngest of four brothers with whom he looked up to with love and support.
Rob is survived by his wife Kathleen, daughter Jennifer Neese (Tom), son Michael, daughter Heather and 2 amazing grandchildren he adored- Jack and Abby. He was also survived by his brothers Jeff (Magda) Steve (Betty) and Mickey (Donna), several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Rob was a devoted father, husband and friend, loved by all he met. He was larger than life, dubbed by the name “The Mayor” not only because his father was the First Mayor of Lauderhill but because he took everyone under his wing. Rob was an avid sports lover. He loved spending Sundays with his son watching the Dolphins play and other sports teams. Rob loved listening to the Beatles, Italian food, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and playing cards. He dreamed of one day being a contestant on The Wheel of Fortune. He grew up in North Miami Beach and had a lot of lifetime friends. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
