Obituary for Ronni Lee Vera
Ronni Lee Vera (nee Silverman), a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend, passed away on September 1st, at the age of 73 in Boynton Beach, FL. She touched the lives of many with her wit and her loyalty.
Born on September 14th, 1949 in Miami, FL, Ronni was the daughter of Bernie and Ruth Silverman. She grew up in New Jersey, where she developed a love for the shore and spent her summers on her parents’ boat.
In 1970 Ronni married David Schachter (deceased) and together they embarked on a journey of building a family and home in Linden and later Edison, NJ. They built a strong and loving family, raising their 3 boys and 6 dogs.
Ronni is survived by her husband Mark Vera, her mother Ruth Silverman, her children Craig Schachter (Julie), Philip Schachter (Erica) and Matthew Schachter, her grandchildren Olivia Schachter, Eva Schachter, Noah Schachter, Reese Schachter and Micah Schachter, her brother Marshall Silverman (Kathy), her sister Fern Toomey (Bill) and her extended family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
The family will hold a private memorial in her honor.
