Roselyn (“Roz”) Falk
Boynton Beach FL --- Roselyn (“Roz”) Falk, 88 of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away on August 22, 2022. Survivors include sons Gary (Donna) and David (Cindy); grandchildren, Kimberly, Danielle, Michael, and Miranda; great-grandchildren, Oliver, Karina, Isabel, Wyatt, Maverick, and Tanner. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Nathan and her granddaughter, Nora.
Roselyn, known by many as “Roz” was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Somerville, New Jersey with her family in her mid-teens. She graduated Somerville High School and the Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School. Roz met the love of her life Nathan (“Nate”) at a dance and fell in love with him and his yellow convertible. They married and Roz worked in office administration at the Belle Mead Depot until they started a family and had two sons. Roz was a full-time stay-at-home mom until the boys neared completion of elementary school and then returned to the workforce. She held several positions in sales and administration and ultimately found her way to the Somerset County, NJ Vocational-Technical Schools where she held several positions over a 25-year career ultimately becoming Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools. In 1998, Roz and Nate retired and relocated to Boynton Beach, Florida. Roz and her family were long-time members of Temple Sholom in Bridgewater, NJ. In addition, Roz was an active member and one-time president of the Raye Molitz Chapter of Deborah Hospital. Roz also enjoyed reading good historical fiction and mysteries and playing mahjong.
Roz will be remembered for her incredible love and care of her immediate and extended family, her strong character and commitment to “always try to do the right thing.”
A private memorial service will be held on August 30th at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel in Boynton Beach, Florida.
