Roslyn M Ellison's Obituary
Roslyn M. Ellison, 90, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 8th with her loving family by her side. She was born on October 19, 1931 in Bronx, New York to Mathilda and Sidney Mickenberg. She survived her husband, Herb, her four sisters and two brothers. Roslyn is survived by her son Marc, her son Steven, Marc’s wife Ellen, their children Jason and Robert, Jason’s wife Rachael, their son Matthew and daughter Noa, who was born the day before Ros’ death, Steven’s wife Stacey and their children Sydney and Benjamin. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly and they loved her and will cherish the memories of their times together. Roslyn was a wonderful student and became a full charge bookkeeper. Her world, however, was her family, raising Marc and Steven with deep loving care. She spent her last eight years at MorseLife where she thrived as an active resident, admired by her fellow residents and the amazing staff at Morse. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 13 at 10 a.m. at the Beth Israel Memorial Chapel located at 11115
Jog Road in Boynton Beach. Her final resting place will be at Lakeside Memorial in Miami. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County in her honor.
