Roslyn Feinstein's Obituary
Roslyn Feinstein, 105, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026She was the beloved wife and best friend of the late Sidney Feinstein, with whom she shared 53 wonderful years of marriage. Roz was the beloved daughter of the late Jacob and Rose Duncan, and the dear sister of the late Diana Terr (Herman).
Roz was the loving mother of Karen Ross (William) and Lynn Cohen(Arthur). She was the devoted Grandmother to Elysa Ross, Sari Ross, Alexis Cohen Gantsoudes (George), Michael Cohen (Katrina) and Jessica Barmach (Jeffrey). She was the adoring Great Grandmother of Shane Rothstein, Isaac Gantsoudes, Zachary Gantsoudes, Rose Barmach and Lewis Barmach.
Roz was a lifetime learner. She graduated Brooklyn /college in 1940 as a chemist. She later went on to Adelphi College to become a teacher, and StonyBrook University to earn a masters degree plus many extra credits. Roz was a dedicated teacher for 25 years and cared deeply about children. She was the oldest Guardian Ad litem in Palm Beach County for many years. When she wasn’t teaching or studying, she was helping Sidney in his dry-cleaning store.
After retirement Roz became a hospital volunteer, avid tennis player, treasurer of the Palm Beech County Tennis Association, water color artist and enthusiastic canasta and bridge player.
Above all, she loved and adored her family - and they knew it.
Memorial donations in Roslyn’s name may be made to AFMDA, 3825 PGA Blvd, Suite 307, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410-2897. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, March 6 at 10 am at the Eternal LIght Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach, FL.
