Ruth Marks' Obituary
Ruth H. Marks, age 92 of Solana Beach, CA passed away on Thursday January 21, 2021. Ruth, affectionately known as Dodo by her family, grew up in New York. She was a woman with a strong spirit and a huge heart and was loved by many. She always brought laughter and a smile to those who knew her. She was preceded in death by her beloved partner, Theodore Block, her sister, Audrey and brother, Stuart. She is survived by her daughter, Amy (Eric), grandson, Michael (Valentine), and her “adopted Block family”. A virtual graveside service will be held on Tuesday January 26, 2021 beginning at 1:30 PM EST, 10:30 AM, PST, followed by a sharing of stories and thoughts by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her honor to the Center for Community Solutions, San Diego, California, www.ccssd.org.
