Sandra (Weiner) Leventhal's Obituary
Sandra (Weiner) Leventhal, 82 years old, passed away on Feb. 12, 2016 in Derry, NH. Sandi was the daughter of Sherman and Elizabeth Weiner of New Haven, CT. She attended Hill House High School and went on to graduate from Yale New Haven School of Nursing. Sandi was married to Bernard Leventhal for 50 years until his death in 2005. Together Sandi and Bernie owned and operated Briarwood Pharmacy in Stratford, CT. Sandi worked many years as a nurse and later taught a Nurses Aid program in Bridgeport High Schools. Sandi and Bernie lived in Trumbull, Stratford CT and retired to Del Ray, Boynton Beach and Lake Worth FL before she moved to NH.
Sandi is survived by her daughter and son in law Vicki and Jerry Frydrych of North Salt Lake UT, daughter Linda McGrath of Derry NH, son-in-law Jeffrey McGrath of Hampstead NH, granddaughters Amanda McGrath of Fremont NH and Sara McGrath of Dover NH and her brother Jerome Weiner of Lake Worth, FL.
Sandra was interred at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach beside Bernard. Donations in her memory can made at NH4Israel.org where Sandra made many friends with her daughter Linda.
