Sandra Rae Traighten's Obituary
Sandra Rae Traighten, 93, of Boca Raton, FL, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025. She is survived by her daughters, Judith Helfant and Donna (Paul) Wahlberg; grandchildren,
Alyssa (Meghan) Wahlberg-McDonald, , Eric Wahlberg, and Dara Elyse Helfant;
brother, Arnold (Susan) Blair; nephews BJ (Nancy) Blair, Noel (Laurie) Blair, and niece, Nancy Blair.
Sandra was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jules Traighten.
Sandy grew up in the Bronx and Queens, raised her family in Union, NJ, and retired to Delray Beach with all of her dear friends from New Jersey. She joined the Sinai Residences community in Boca Raton in 2016, as a founding member, and served enthusiastically in their Ambassador Club. She was active in organizations involved in cancer research including PAP Corp, as well as Hadassah. She will be remembered by her warm smile, and joyous and entertaining personality. May her memory always be a blessing.
A cryptside service will be held at 12:15pm on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
