Sandra Joan Wildhorn's Obituary
Sandra Joan Wildhorn (December 10, 1936 — November 22, 2022) was born Sandra Joan Burg into a Russian-Jewish family: her parents Samuel and Pauline, and her beloved sister, Diana.
At a dance in the Bronx, Sandra met a Jewish boy from Romania, Seymour (Sy) Wildhorn. One of the things they had in common was how much they loved to dance. Sandy and Sy danced, and didn’t stop dancing until after 51 years of marriage.
Sandra lived life on her own terms. She was always full of passion and energy, optimistic in nature, and Bronx-tough. She wore her passions on her sleeve — dancing, traveling, and music, which she passed on to her children.
Sandra is survived by her children Frank and Donna, and grandchildren Jake, Justin, and Victoria. She will be missed so very much, yet celebrated every single day, by her children, grandchildren, and her many wonderful friends she’s made all over the world for so many years.
