Saul Karasyk's Obituary
Saul Karasyk, 94, of Aberdeen Lakes in Boynton Beach passed away Wednesday September 18, 2019. Saul and Honora, his beloved wife of 71 years came to Florida from Roslyn Heights, NY. A proud WW II Army Veteran, Saul served in the Pacific Theater and was a recipient of both the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart among other service medals. A “mensch” in every sense of the word, Saul was a man who really cared for his family, friends, and community. In addition to his beloved Honora, Saul was the devoted father of Jeffrey (Jamie) Karasyk, Ellen (Mike Natali) D’Ambrosio, and Lauren (John) Oakley; the loving grandfather of David (Cullen) D’Ambrosio, James Ryan III, and Andrew Karasyk, and great grandfather of Slone D’Ambrosio and Dezi D’Ambrosio; Saul also leaves his dear friend Caren. Chapel services will be held 11:45 AM Friday September 20, 2019 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Rd., Boynton Beach, FL 33437 followed by interment with honors in South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL.
