Seymour Ginsburg's Obituary
Seymour Ginsburg, 87, of Vi at Lakeside Village in Lantana and formerly of Ponte Vecchio in Boynton Beach passed away Wednesday November 30, 2016. Seymour was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey and raised in Trenton. A retired teacher, he was the president and chief negotiator of the teacher’s union in Long Island before retiring to Florida. He was also a proud Air Force veteran. Seymour was the beloved husband of Marilyn for 48 years; the loving father of Linda (Phil Fish) Miller, Marlene Cohen, Robyn Symon, and Golda (Paul Herrnson) Ginsburg; the cherished grandfather of Miranda, Brandon, Benjamin, and Geoffrey; cherished great grandfather of Madison, Kira, Isabella, and Leland; and dear brother of Mitchell (Pamela) Ginsburg and Rita Lock. Chapel services will be 11AM on Friday December 2, 2016 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Rd., Boynton Beach, Florida 33437 with Rabbi Anthony B. Fratello of Temple Shaarei Shalom officiating. Military honors will also be rendered.
