I have so many wonderful memories of my Aunt Sharlene that began when I was about 4 or 5 years old as the ring bearer at her wedding to Marvin. As a child, I remember many visits with her and her family. As an adult, we continued our contacts with each other and our families. I remember playing tennis and golf with her and Marvin on many occasions...she was very competitive. Our last visit was in early March this year, just before the covid-19 travel restrictions began. My wife, Mary and I, visited Sharlene and Marvin at their home for a couple of days. We enjoyed each other's company very much. She and Marvin are wonderful hosts. We went out to dinner a couple of nights and spent much time talking and remembering the "old days". I didn't realize that this would be the last time that I would see her, but I remember when we were saying goodbye, we gave each other a very long hug and told each other how much we loved each other. She was a very special woman, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend. I will truly miss her.
