Sharon E. Geller's Obituary
Sharon was more than a friend—she was family.
For years, she spent holidays with us, always showing up with thoughtful gifts, especially for the kids. She made each one feel visable and special. This week, hearing from so many of them has reminded me just how deeply she touched their lives.
Sharon spent her life teaching, guiding, and bringing people together. From her work in the Bronx schools to her time volunteering and supporting others in her community, she never stopped being an educator at heart.
In these last three months, I was lucky enough to have her with me every day. We shared quiet mornings with coffee and sunrises, sat by the water remembering our trips to Montauk, and spent time laughing, talking, and simply being present. She danced, she connected with neighbors, she shared her knowledge of music and movies—she was still shining in all the ways that made her so special.
I truly believe she waited for one last call from someone she loved before she let go. And I believe she didn’t leave this world alone.
Sharon, I hope you are free from pain now. Thank you for the love, the memories, and the light you brought into all of our lives.
You will be missed every single day. ❤️
