My dad was the most selfless person I've ever known. There was nothing more important to him than his family. He would literally drop whatever he was doing at any second of any day to help us in fact he would've done that for anyone. That's who he was. He asked for nothing ever. He was kind, loving, smart, funny and though he was not a man of many words his actions spoke volumes. I don't know anyone who didn't love my dad. My dad never missed a milestone in his children's lives and then his grandchildren's. There wasn't a hockey game, a dance recital, a theatre production, or a school event where you didn't see my dad. Growing up my dad was always fun. Never lacking for a quick witted one liner or to share his joke of the day. We had the best childhood. He always made us laugh and I can barely remember the times he would get mad. I think my friends loved him almost as much as we did. Always the life of the party. Everyone looked forward to my parents hitting the dance floor...we would always joke there goes "couple number one." He loved to play his drums and his love for music was endless. I'm pretty sure if he wasn't an accountant he would've been an entertainer. His love for my mother was unsurpassed. Truly one of the greatest love stories I've ever witnessed. He took care of and protected her almost to a fault and rest assured daddy we will do that for you now. You were taken from us way to soon. We had so much more to do and I can't belive I will never hear your voice again or dance with you at my children's weddings. There will definitely be more singing and dancing up there and I know you will be watching out for us like you always did. You were truly a one of a kind husband, father, grandfather, and friend. We were so lucky to have you. Life will never be the same without you here and we will all forever miss you and love you so much. Rest in peace Daddy.
