Sheldon Rosenbloom's Obituary
Sheldon Rosenbloom (Shelly), 82 passed away peacefully on September 11, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 16, 1940. He is survived by his loving wife. Sam (Darawan), of 18 years, his children Jill Duggan, Stacy Rosenbloom and Keith Rosenbloom and his grandchildren Rachel Duggan, Harrison Duggan and Madeline Rosenbloom. He also leaves behind his sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Marvin Cohen as well as several special family members, including Barry, Randy, Donna, and Tom.
Shelly spent the early part of his life in New York and Massachusetts as a successful toy salesman. He had a love of Lionel Trains and was well liked by his colleagues throughout the Northeast Region. Shelly had a great love of fishing and would travel many miles from New York to Cape Cod just to fish for a night. Traveling was also one of Shelly’s passions as he traveled extensively throughout the United States and Asia. Shelly spent several years of his life living in Thailand with his wife and immersed himself in the people and culture. He moved back to Boca Raton, Florida where he enjoyed the warm weather and an active social life.
