Sigmund "Ziggy" Margulies' Obituary
It is with great sadness and a broken heart that we share the passing of our dad Sigmund Margulies on November 22, 2022.. Known to most as “Zig” and “Ziggy” we and all of his grandchildren adoringly called him “Pop”. While our hearts are broken we know he is back with our Mom, family and friends he has lost along the way, shooting dice, betting on horses and telling his stories. He was well known to many of you as the proud born Brooklyn guy, Self -made, entrepreneur and adventurer who loved a good party. He was a generous man who always gave when he could and cherished his family and friends. Ziggy leaves behind his three loving daughters Stacy Margulies, Eileen (Howard) Sobel, and Jill (Joseph) Ferrone; and four cherished grandchildren Matthew, Andrew, Peyton, and Ari. We all loved him with all of our hearts and had our own special relationship with our Dad. We will miss him immensely. A chapel service will take place at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel-Boynton Beach on Sunday, December 11, 2022 12:00pm. Burial will follow on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 2:00pm at South Florida National Cemetery Lake Worth, Florida. Those wishing to honor Ziggy's memory with a memorial contribution are asked to consider the American Cancer Society (https://donate3.cancer.org)
