Solomon Koved's Obituary
Solomon Koved, 95 of Lantana, FL passed away on August 23, 2017. He was predeceased by Harriette, his wife of 54 years; Sylvia, his wife of 13 years and son Larry Wisch. He is survived by sons Lance (Joyce) Koved, and Alec (Dotty) Wisch; brother Fred Koved; grandchildren Amy, William, John, Sandy and Sarah, as well as his 13 great-grandchildren.
Solomon graduated from City College of NY with a degree in chemistry. After serving in the Army during World War II he worked for many years for Montrose Chemical Company in Newark, NJ. He concluded his career in the nuclear power industry. Solomon was well known for being the editor of “First Days” magazine for over 30 years. Solomon moved to Florida in 2002 after being raised in Bronx, NY and living in Cranford, NJ for 48 years.
A chapel service will be held at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Road, Boynton Beach, FL 33437 on Sunday August 27th, 2017 beginning at 9:30AM. Entombment will follow at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, Boynton Beach.
