Stanley R. Bernstein's Obituary
Stanley ‘Stan’ Robert Bernstein, 87, of Brooklyn, passed away on Sunday November 4, 2018 in Boynton Beach.
Stanley was born in Brooklyn, New York to Benjamin and Anna (Cohen) Bernstein on August 12, 1931. He married Shelia (Miller) Bernstein on December 24, 1967 in Queens, New York. He worked as a New York City Correction Officer for 25 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War and served at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, FL. Stanley was an avid stamp and coin collector he also enjoyed building model air planes and ships.
Stanley is preceded in death by his father Benjamin Bernstein, Mother Anna (Cohen) Bernstein and Sister Eleanor Goidel.
Stanley is survived by his loving wife Shelia, son Fred of East Stroudsburg, Pa, granddaughters, Nicole and Jaclyn.
