Stanley T Miller's Obituary
Stanley T. Miller was born in the Catskill region of New York on November 27, 1931, the son of immigrants from Eastern Europe. He grew up playing basketball and waiting tables at several of the resorts in the area, and later attended Miami University of Ohio and serving in the United States Army.
After graduating college, he began what would be a highly successful career in the aluminum industry based in his beloved New York City.
Philanthropy was always important to Stanley, and he was an ardent Zionist and cared deeply about helping people. He was a founder of The Winston Preparatory School and a trustee of the Sidney Danziger Foundation.
Stanley is survived by and will be greatly missed by his wife of 63 years, Vera Miller, and his children Melinda Friedman and Joshua Miller, their spouses David Friedman and Stacy Miller, and his grandchildren Aaron Friedman and Dr. Elizabeth Scheinthal and her husband Dr. Eitan Scheinthal.
