Stanley Reiss of Lake Worth, FL. passed away March 6, 2020 surrounded by his devoted family. Born in the Bronx, NY, on August 1, 1935. Parents Irving Reiss and Lillian Malloff. Surviving family: His loving wife, of 68 years, Toby Reiss. Children: "Michelle and (husband) Michael Cosgrove”
“Ronald and (wife) Tanny Reiss”. “Michael and (wife) Lisa Reiss” Grandchildren and there spouses Melissa and Sean Cato, Andrew and Jennifer Feinman, Heather and Luis Miro, Jeremy and Erin Reiss, Kyle and Brittany Reiss, Christopher Cosgrove and Danielle Hepfer, Julianna and Steven Reiss. Great Grandchildren; Tyler Cato, Isaac and Wyatt Reiss, Owen and Greyson Reiss, Luis Miro, Jackson and Jacob Hepfer; Siblings Linda and Gordon Johnson. Predeceased by siblings Edna Stein and Natalie Keller.
As a supervisor over a Brooklyn printing plant, he oversaw the production of many various magazines and newspapers, among them, them infamous entertainment publication ‘Variety.’
Stanley and Toby moved to Lake worth in 1996. They enjoyed time at the beach and on cruises together. He never missed a day of work. He more than provided for the family unceasingly. While living in West Palm Beach, Florida, Stan drove a school bus for Palm Beach County School District, and chaperoned young students for many schools on the Tri-Rail System. Stanley was an artist in every sense of the word! He loved the sun on his face. He only wanted to see the best for others and treated them as equals. He always shared a smile and found humor in every situation. If you knew Stan, there is, most certainly, a memory of him that will live with you forever! Funeral services will be held 1 pm on Wednesday March 11, 2020 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel 11115 Jog Road Boynton Beach, FL. Interment to follow directly after services to Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach, FL.
