My condolences to the Goodhart FamilyI was recently in Hawaii, where I had heard from a friend that Stephen had passed away. In the early 80s Mr. Goodhart and Dr. Scherman had a delicatessen in Hawaii that they gave me an opportunity to manage. I was a young person with some business experience, but I learned a lot about accountability and organization from them. They were ahead of the times, probably at that point the only Delicatessen I knew of that was tied into a computer for inventory. I learned a lot about people skills, and I watched how “Steve” interacted with people. An extremely honest businessman, funny, fair and educated. I am not a close friend of the family, and it’s been years since this experience, but Steve left a lasting impression on me in which I tried to mimic some of his people and business skills throughout my life. Steve was an excellent man with a lovely family. I think it’s in order to thank him in my prayers. My condolences. Kind Regards Jeffrey Whitacre
