Stephen Werby's Obituary
Stephen A. Werby, originally from Brookline, Massachusetts, son of the late Milton Werby and Edith (Dvilnsky) Werby and brother of the late Barbara (Werby) Smith died peacefully on June 11, 2023, in Boynton Beach, Florida at the age of 83. He is survived by his wife Marcia (Weiner) Werby, and children, Peter Werby and Jennifer Werby, and grandchildren, Brian, Kevin and Kaitlyn.
Steve attended Boston University where he received a Degree in Market Research and New York University where he received a master’s degree in business administration.
During his long career he mostly worked in the advertising business at Doyle, Dane, Birnbach on Madison Avenue, and its iterations, until he opened his own market research agency, which he did until he retired.
Steve was a musician and an artist, he volunteered his time and talent to numerous organizations, he enjoyed traveling around the world on cruise ships and tours. He always had a good word and saw the best in people. He proudly protected and provided for his family. He was intelligent and curious, loved a good spoonerism and loved to make others laugh as well. A chapel service will take place on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 1:00pm at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel-Boynton Beach. Stephen will be laid to rest following the service at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens.
