Steven Kempler's Obituary
Friends and family are mourning the loss of Steve Kempler who died peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving son and family, on Friday November 1, 2024.
Steven “Steve” Charles Kempler, 57, was born September 18, 1967 in Plantation, FLA and was adopted by Arnold and Sydell Kempler. He was raised in Commack, New York where he graduated from Commack High School.
Steve is survived by his son Andrew Kempler (Farmingville, NY), stepson Christopher Presuto (West Palm Beach, FLA), stepson George Presuto, and stepdaughter Kelly Burns (New Britain, CT). He is proceeded in death by his loving parents Arnold “Bob” and Sydell Kempler, and close friends.
After a long career with the Long Island Railroad, Steve retired to Florida where he devoted his time to family and friends, home improvement projects, and caring for his mother. Known for his boisterous personality, he was well-loved within his large circle of friends in both New York and Florida, many of whom came to rely on him for his counsel.
Steve will be remembered for his wonderful smile, sarcastic wit, always practical advice (both solicited and unsolicited), ability to find humor in difficult situations, passion for new cars, and above all, his deep love for his children.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at 1:00PM at the Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, Boynton Beach, FL.
