Susan Carol Faden's Obituary
Susan Carol Faden, “Susie“, 80, sadly left us on August 14, 2024. Susie was born on February 22, 1944 in Bronx, NY to Martha and Jack Kanowsky.
Susie married Gary on February 2, 1969 after many years of him courting her. Together they built a beautiful family with their two children, Jodi and Eric, whom she loved with all her heart. She provided them with support, strength and guidance and lots of nudging in the best possible ways. Susie opened her home to welcome friends and family for holidays, card games, barbecues and best of all, the annual cousins’ pool parties, where anything goes!
Susie was a wonderful cook and prepared dinner for her family almost every night. But as good of a cook as she was, she was an even better baker. If she knew there was a dessert you liked she was sure to bake it for you. That was often how she showed her love for others. She also loved to play canasta and Mahjong, watch old movies, TV shows and Jeopardy, shopping and all the glitz!
Susie was blessed with two beautiful grandchildren who she nicknamed G.G. (Gorgeous Girl) and T.M. (Totskala Matskala). They were her whole world. She adored them and loved them with all that she had and all that she was.
Susie is survived by her daughter Jodi, “favorite” son-in-law Jeff, granddaughter Rachel (G.G.) and grandson Jordan (T.M.), and so many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased in death by her husband, Gary and her son, Eric.
The funeral will take place on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 10:45 am at
Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach, FL.
