Sydelle Weinstein's Obituary
Sydelle “Sunny” Marilyn Weinstein, age 85, of Delray Beach, Florida, died of natural causes on February 27, 2021, in Delray Beach, Florida.
Sunny is survived by her children, Cheri Hertel, Howard Weinstein, Eileen Smith and her husband, David Smith, Evan Weinstein and his wife Marta Weinstein; Sunny’s brother Michael Weissman, grandchildren, Jaime Hertel Dasque, Sari Weinstein, Korina Weinstein, Jennifer Picciano Barbarito, Michael Picciano and Laura Smith and great grandchildren, Marah Dasque, Amira Chaabane and Shamai Chaabane.
Sunny is preceded in death by her husband of over 56 years, Murray Weinstein. She was a loving and generous wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.
Throughout her life Sunny was quick to make friends, always had a “sunny” disposition and was instantly fondly regarded. The past 10 years, up to just weeks before her death, she was very socially active and passionately involved with ballroom dancing. She has won multiple ballroom dancing competitions and lived to dance. Her family and friends will always remember her as a cheerful, carefree, generous and loving person.
A funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 1:15 p.m., at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 5808 W. Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach, FL 33484 with interment at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, services and grave site interment are limited to invited close family and friends only.
