Terri Rene Lessick's Obituary
Terri Lessick passed away peacefully in North Carolina on February 19, 2026, at the age of 68.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mitchel Lessick, and her parents, Harriet
and Milton Shapiro.
Terri devoted her life to teaching, spending most of her career as a middle school science
teacher. She poured her heart into her classroom, inspiring curiosity and nurturing young minds
with patience, creativity, and care. Outside of school, she expressed her artistic spirit through
stained glass and mosaic creations, each piece reflecting the beauty she saw in the world.
Above all, Terri’s greatest passion was her family. She dedicated her life to those she loved and
never let a moment pass without reminding them how deeply they mattered to her.
She is survived by her daughters, Elise Wells and Erica Woodle; her grandchildren, Eric and
Lucian Wells, and Maxine and Logan Woodle; and her sons-in-law, Ryan Wells and Brandon
Woodle.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Terri’s name to one of her passions,
