Theodore Jon Andrews' Obituary
Theodore Jon Andrews “TJ”
Theodore Jon Andrews “TJ”, age 60, of Delray Beach, Florida, passed away on January 28, 2025. TJ spent most of his life in South Florida where he would go on to make countless memories and build numerous friendships. He is survived by his wife Paula Andrews, his daughters Jessica Andrews and Emily Andrews, and son-in-law Tyler Marietta, all of whom were the light of his life and his greatest pride.
Throughout his life, TJ held various positions that allowed him to touch the lives of many. His career began in the hospitality industry, where he worked in notable restaurants such as The Wildflower and The Elephant Walk.
For many years, TJ managed several different Sound Advice high-end electronic stores, where his expertise and dedication left a lasting impression on both colleagues and customers. His career culminated at Rays Offshore, where he continued to demonstrate his unwavering commitment to excellence and service.
TJ was an avid fisherman and played an integral role in the South Florida fishing and boating community for many years. His love for the sea was evident in every cast of his fishing rod and every wave he navigated. This passion for nature extended beyond the water, as he was known for his deep affection for animals. Dogs, cats, and even turtles found a friend in TJ, who was always ready to lend a helping hand to creatures in need. It was not unusual for him to stop the car to help a turtle cross the street.
TJ's legacy is one of kindness, generosity, and an unyielding love for life, whether it was a trip to Islamorada or Disney World with his family, listening to music, or enjoying good food or drink (especially a Patron Golden Margarita on the rocks).
As we reflect on TJ's life, we remember a man who was not only a devoted husband and father but also a cherished friend. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him and the many lives he touched.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Florida Fish and Wildlife, or the ASPCA. These organizations reflect TJ’s passions and his commitment to making the world a better place.
