What a tremendous loss. Tom was my best friend of 20 years. During this time, I could count on him for almost anything and everything. If I needed help with an art project, he was there. If I couldn't figure something out, he could solve it. He always took time to help me no matter what. I turned to him for many things and I will miss him very much. I was so very lucky to be able to spend time with him on many occasions. We would frequent spring training and Marlins baseball, Dolphins football and Heat basketball games and it was always the perfect time as he was always hilarious, witty and amazingly funny. I really can't believe you are gone, Lamp! You helped so many students at FAU and touched many lives with your photos, art and video skills. I just wanted to take time to thank you and I know you are looking down on us with a smile on your face! Although I never had the pleasure of meeting your personally, I feel as though I knew you through the stories Julia shared. You lived a life many of us envy, being able to travel abroad and live in so many different regions of the world! I pray that you will watch over Julia, Tamsyn and Jonathan in the years to come and send them strength when times get tough.
