Victor Goldberg's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Victor Goldberg
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father and grandfather, Victor Goldberg, who left us peacefully on April 22, 2025, at the age of 88.
Born on June 20, 1936, in the Bronx, New York, Vic was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He dedicated his life to his cherished wife of 68 years, Rita Goldberg, and their three children, Fred Goldberg, Mark Goldberg, and Jodi Roberts.
Vic’s legacy lives on in his seven grandchildren, whom he adored: Bryan Roberts, Michael Roberts, Jeremy Goldberg, Allyson Goldberg, William Goldberg, Jamie Roberts, and Matthew Goldberg. He took great pride in their accomplishments, especially the twelve college degrees earned collectively by his children and grandchildren—a testament to the values of learning and perseverance he instilled in his family.
A true visionary, Vic recognized the potential of technology long before it became mainstream. In the 1970s, he helped pioneer the technology practice at KPMG and its predecessor firms, dedicating more than 40 years to shaping the firm’s future.
Victor Goldberg will be remembered for his selflessness, wisdom, warmth, and unwavering dedication to his family. His legacy of love, foresight, and integrity will live on in all who had the privilege to know him.
