Walter Schindler's Obituary
Walter Schindler, 89, of the Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton passed away Thursday October 18, 2018. Walter and Renee, his beloved wife for 61 years, have been residents of Woodfield for the past 23 years. Walter owned and operated Walter’s Wicker, a well known multi-generational furniture enterprise. He was a proud Korean War Veteran who touched many lives with kindness and understanding. Whether dealing with a CEO or a server in a restaurant Walter treated everyone equally and with respect. Walter was the loving husband of Renee; the devoted father of the late Kenneth Schindler and Randi (Dr. David) Paris; the cherished grandfather of Adam, Scott, and Stacy Schindler, and Lee, Alyssa, and Brittany Paris; and dear father-in-law of Debra Schindler. Chapel services with military honors will be held 11 AM Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Rd., Boynton Beach, FL 33437 with interment at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach to follow. Rabbi David-Seth Kirchner of Temple Emanu-El in Closter, NJ will officiate.
