Bill was a wonderful COA president and tremendous help to my mother in law, also an original resident of Banyan Springs, and lived in the same building as Bill. After my father in law passed, in 2009, when my mother in law needed a new car, Bill went with her to the dealership to make sure she wasn’t taken advantage of and got a good deal. What a mensch!
After my mother in law passed in 2018 Bill watched our place for us til we sold it in 2021. On our visits we enjoyed having him and Ethyl over and after Ethyl passed we would go for ice cream runs or grab dinner at one of the local eateries. He was a such dear man. We have missed him terribly! We were sad to see him leave Banyan, but so happy he went to be with family in Connecticut. He missed Ethyl so much!
When we’re in town and visit my in-laws grave we always stop by Ethyl’s as well. It makes me smile to think they are together again. True soul mates!
Condolences to all the family. May both Bill and Ethyl’s memories be a blessing!
