On Friday, 11/13/2020, 6:36 P.M. , mom left this world to eternally be with dad and meet her maker. Mom was 92 and lived a long rewarding life. Her passing was very calm and peaceful. She did not have covid.
After decades of Florida living, mom returned north where she spent her final months at The Bristal Assisted Living in Englewood, N.J. Zelda was born in the Bronx, lived in Queens, and Long Island before moving to Boynton Beach, FL where she lived for 30 years. At Bristol Assisted Living she was very well taken care of by the entire staff and received multiple virtual calls and visits from her extended family, especially noteworthy was her new pride and joy great granddaughter Maya, who always lit up mom's face for facetime calls and in person visits.
Mom was a trouper until the end. I am proud of the way she lived her life, especially the years after dad passed. They were childhood sweethearts and I know she missed him dearly but was very strong and remained engaged and active until just a few weeks ago.
Rest In Peace, we all love you and thank you for all you have done to enrich our lives.
