“On behalf of my family I wanted to thank you and your entire company for everything you did taking care of our father, Alvin G. Kates. Every detail was magnificent, from your sparkling facility, it's grounds, your vehicles and especially the gentlemen who looked after us there. Ken, Andy and the other gentleman whose name escapes me couldn't have been more cordial, gracious and accommodating. They made a difficult occasion so much easier, and the thoughtfulness they each displayed made a lasting impression on us. I was particularly gratified at Ken's presentation of Dad's flag to me for Mom, and was very proud to hear of Andy's father's WWII awards. That came from their hearts and is much appreciated. We also appreciate all of the behind the scenes work on your part, John. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend your services to anyone, and intend to contact you again when the need arises. Best Regards, L”

“ I just wanted to drop you a note about how much I appreciated working with John during this confusing time getting my father’s body from Delray Beach Medical Center on Saturday, June 19 and eventually having his remains cremated and the ashes shipped up to me in New Jersey. The Funeral home came highly recommended but John went above and beyond in helping me through the process of getting enough Death Certificates and helping me with everything else. He was always available and he was consistently on time with all of his promises of delivery. I called him this week to let him know that I received the original Death Certificates last week and the ashes this week, and to thank him again for all his help, advice, and kindness”

“Neal, I just wanted to write and thank you again for all your help and guidance during a very difficult time. With being in New York and my brother in Connecticut, you made the plans for my mother’s funeral completely effortless. You were always there for us, explaining the process and guiding us through every detail. You found us the perfect Rabbi, who not only had the most amazing voice, but delivered a program that couldn’t have been better. No matter what we needed or asked of you, I knew it was taken care of and we never had to worry about a thing. Even hand delivering the death certificates to us before we returned up north. We were very grateful for everything you did for us at this time. Best regards, B.M. & Family”

“I am writing this letter in reference to Neal Hornfeld. My mom passed away the evening of Dec. 9, 2020. I was notified of her passing about 11:00 PM, and it was close to midnight but the time my husband and I spoke to Neal. Neal was calm and compassionate, and helped ease my fears. It is so difficult to lose a loved one – regardless of age – at any time, but especially now during COVID, and when there is distance involved. I am in N.Y., as is the majority of my family. We did not come down to Fla. for the funeral and Neal took care of everything! Neal was so helpful and so efficient. He was just wonderful to deal with in every respect. He made a horrible situation, a bearable one. Sincerely P.H. ”

“Hello William and Edward, I just want to say thank you, again, for what was accomplished this week. Finally being able to lay my Mom to rest, alongside her parents, was such a gift. Not only to my brother and sister, but to one of my Mom's oldest friends, as well, who hadn't been well enough to travel to Florida for her funeral, 10 years ago. It's unfortunate that I wasted so much time in trying to get this accomplished, but the incredible good fortune was that, my Mom was able to be reinterred along with my Aunt, who died this summer. There's a Yiddish word, beshert, meaning meant to be. Apparently, this was. But it wouldn't have been without your assistance. I cannot tell you how very appreciative I am, to you both. Sincerely, A.J.”

“Good Day Lady & Gentlemen, My sister past away last week and the only funeral home I would ever consider is yours. Having used your services for almost 15 years, I knew excellence put out before me. Within five minutes of speaking with John Brooks he well satisfied me with complete knowledge of the procedures and the tasks I must initiate and fully endure for the hours ahead. He did a fine job, sincere, precise, and indeed eloquently dealt with the difficult tasks of dealing with the loss of my beloved sister. He is formidable in his tasks, honest and an outstanding task master with complete knowledge of all the isssues ahead. He allowed me to remain calm, but concerned about the eulogy presentation and satisfied my full inquiry as to how the services would be conducted. Rabbi Paul Offenkrantz was outstanding and spoke of my sister with much depth of delivery, compassion and solidified my concerns and his exemplary presentation of my personal eulogy with his depth of the presentation of the service. He and all of the above staff made my family once again, proud of the services of Beth Israel as truly outstanding. Death is difficult at best to accept yet we must proceed in a professional demeanor, presentation of our religious obligations and feel comfortable with our service selections. I am more than satisfied with your staff demeanor and quality of the service/ You should stand proud in having John Brooks as an outstanding staff member. Your entire delivery was OUTSTANDING”
