I'll remember Anne Steele always as a role model, a warm and lively matriarch of the Steele clan who welcomed me to her family and inspired me to come out of my shell. For a long time she was "Mom" to me and I remember feeling more comfortable calling her this than I did my own mother. I looked forward to our little phone chats generally around Mother's Day or her birthday years after my divorce when she continued to light up my life and put a smile on my face, for that I am forever thankful. For Wayne, Elida, Steve, Cliff and all your beautiful extended families, Anne's surviving siblings, I extend my heartfelt condolences and may you all celebrate her life by living your best, that would be her great happiness.
