Joseph Sadoff
Barry arrived with his family at Midway Airport in Chicago on a Sunday in February, 1952. He was met by his Uncle Mike and Aunt Dorothy, who took our family to their home on the north side of Chicago. We arrived just in time to watch our first television program: Ed Sullivan and The Toast of the Town. Of course Barry was too young to watch and was probably asleep at the time.
Barry became a US citizen twice, first on April 8, 1858, when his parents took their oath of American citizenship, then later when he took his own oath of citizenship, in order to join the US Navy.
