Dear Bruce,Lauren, and Darren Powell,
Although it has been many years since we were in contact, my family and I always cherished the friendship and kindness Cindy offered to us as a family. The years that Lauren and our daughter, Michelle attended Greenvale school were precious and filled with so much joy.
Cindy would often take Michelle with her when she picked up Lauren from school. They often went to Ben's for lunch. When Michelle and Lauren had a sleep over, Cindy treated her like she was a member of their family- In the years that followed we purchased their Dix Hills home and again, Cindy was very generous. I have many memories of Cindy's parents visiting and her love for her mom and dad was enormous. Whatever affected us as friends and neighbors, Cindy offered support and words of encouragement. Please accept our condolences on Cindy's passing. The tribute photo is just as I remember her- beautiful and full of smiles. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Cindy truly left the world a more beautiful place.
