Gerald “Gerry” Levine, age 88, formerly of Corning, NY, and Boynton Beach, FL, passed away peacefully in Stuart, FL, on February 25, 2020. He is survived by the love of his life, wife Beatrice "Bea" (nee Shapiro), children Michae Read Obituary
I remember my Uncle Gerry for his boisterous laugh and great sense of humor. It was always fun going to the other Levine household up in Corning, New York and taking fascinating tours through the Corning Glass Co. Between my brother Gary and myself, and the clan of cousins, it was always a busy time enjoying holidays together.

It was with great shock that I read in the PB Post of Gerry’s death. Gerry was a very close friend of my younger brother, Bob, and among my closest friends as six-year-olds growing up on Union St. in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn were Gerry’s big brother, Phil, and his cousin, Arthur. And I recall Gerry’s wife, Bea, as one of the real beauties of our neighborhood. So, despite the sadness of Gerry’s parting, it was more than compensated by the knowledge that Gerry led a long, successful, happy, and fruitful life. My deepest condolence goes out to Bea and the rest of Gerry’s family. As he rejoins his brother and the rest of the “Union Street Gang,” I know he will Rest In Peace.
