I'm one of 6 High School Classmates who used to regularly have lunch with Harv every month, just a few short years ago. During one of these lunches 3 of the guys were comparing recipes that they used occasionally when they helped or replaced their wives at cooking dinner. One of them turned to Harv and asked if he had any recipes to contribute. Without hesitation, Harv responded, "LORRAINE COOKS MY DINNERS". To me, Harv's GREATEST of MANY, MANY GREAT TRAITS, was his COMPASSION for CARING. In one of the many discussions I enjoyed with him driving either to or from our Monthly High-School Classmate "Guys Lunches", he shared his reason for finally Retiring from his Parkinsons' Research. HE BECAME SO ATTACHED TO HIS PATIENTS that the Realization that he would NEVER BE ABLE TO CURE Any of These Fine People made continuing his Research TOO FRUSTRATING for Him.THAT THOUGHT PERMANENTLY ENDEARED ME to this Great Man.Mike LevinBoynton Beach, FLClassmate 1951-1954
