I'm very grateful to have had the opportunity to see Judy a few months ago. She was radiant, surrounded by her beautiful, loving, immediate and extended family. It was an honor to be included in her birthday celebration; this year and in years past. While I haven't known her long, it was clear she was incredibly accomplished and leaves behind a lasting legacy. Love, Nancy
Living in such close proximity to the Gershmans' I have many memories. At times it felt like one household. Looking back Aunt Judy always had an open door policy for me, my siblings and our dogs. We were alot. There was food and always conversation for me, be it in her kitchen in Dumont,or her balcony in the Island-not to mention fun in San Francisco.
Most of all, I am left knowing that I was loved by my Aunt Judy and I loved her and for that my life was richer.

Judy and Myia two pals getting along know each other 😍 Judy was more than a client she became a friend we made goals to achieve Five days a week Judy and myia would work out do exercise and and a 30 min walk we would laugh and giggle at times it was a vibe ,Judy has and incredible sense of humor and THATS when the giggles or a smile will come in we would just get each other . Judy was so passionate when it came to her physical and mental health even on days when I would give Judy a extra encouragement .
Judy and I colored and drew pictures and have a imagination to the images. We would make things out of clay and play with puddy to get strength in her hand and jingo to memorize her memory
We remember Aunt Judy in the house in Dumont, New Jersey because Marianne and I used to visit there when we lived not too far away in an apartment in Monsey NY. She let us use the hose to wash our Toyota Corolla that was a stick shift that Mitch taught me to drive.
We were always welcomed and we enjoyed seeing the miniature schnauzers, Tippy and Romeo. I don't think anybody ever knew this, but she asked me if I could help her hang some items. So, after teaching in Spanish Harlem, instead of heading home, I would go north to NJ a few times to hang some things that Uncle Sidney was too busy to get to. She appreciate it very much and I enjoyed doing it for her.
We also remember meeting her in Virginia when she was visiting Mitchell. We met her at a mall and spent a pleasant afternoon visiting with her.
We remember when we would all squeeze into my Mom's apartment in Brooklyn for a dinner to celebrate the Jewish holidays and Aunt Judy and Uncle Sidney would be there. The table filled the entire living room with Grandpa Sam at the head..
Aunt Judy was always friendly and so happy to see us. We are so glad that we had the opportunity to see her at Milo's Bar Mitzvah in October 2019 with the whole family. She was very fortunate to have such a wonderful family and to be loved by so many people.
She will be missed.

We will always remember Aunt Judy’s laugh and her calling Gregg a F—-Face! 😂😂😂 She was such fun and always open to telling us stories about the family. We adored her and she will be greatly missed.
My aunt from Dumont, NJ was a very talented artist and had a wonderful sense of humor and always was able to find something nice to say about people she knew. We loved her visits to Hazleton and when she hosted us in Dumont along with Uncle Sidney! They were quite a team as can be seen by their wonderful children and grandchildren.
