Jurgen M. Nielsen's Obituary
Jurgen M Nielsen age 63 formally of Carteret NJ, passed away September 15, 2021 at home surrounded by his loved ones. Jurgen’s battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life’s challenges with strength and conviction. Despite his pain he stayed strong until the end. Jurgen retired from the Sheet Metal Workers Local 27 and relocated to Florida where he enjoyed life with his long term companion Cathy Caprio. Cathy will carry out his final bucket list by visiting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in his honor. Jurgen was a Rock and Roll aficionado who loved knew everything about music. He also loved his jeeps, his Harley and his favorite teams, The New York Yankees and The New York Giants. Jurgen also organized softball teams with all of his buddies which was one of his great passions. Jurgen leaves his parents, Mary and Jurgen Nielsen also of Florida. Jurgen was a devoted son who enjoyed cooking for his parents and traveling with them to many countries in his younger years. The three of them shared a special bond. Jurgen is also survived by his son Jason Nielsen and daughter in law Catherine and his 2 grandchildren of New Jersey. Jurgen will be missed by many friends and family especially his beloved dog Buddy Boom Bats and his Florida extended family. Jurgen’s family will receive friends from 1-3:30 at the Beth Israel Memorial Chapel on Tuesday September 21st.
