Lawrence "Larry" Blackman's Obituary
Larry Blackman, 64, of Delray Beach, FL sadly and suddenly passed away on September 20, 2020. Larry spread immense joy to his family and friends through his extraordinarily kind, warm, funny, compassionate and infectious personality. Larry was the happiest spending time with his family and friends, as well as sipping on a fresh cup of piping hot coffee, a good IPA or enjoying a piece of blueberry crumb pie. His sense of humor and positivity brought happiness to everyone in his life. Larry‘s greatest joy was being a proud and loving husband, father, stepfather, brother, uncle and friend.
He grew up in West Hempstead, NY and received his BA in Computer Science at Pace University. He is survived by his beloved family including his devoted wife Peggy, daughter Lindsay Blackman, daughter Heather Chumbris and son-in-law Stephen Chumbris, sister Helen Harrison and brother-in-law Chuck Harrison, nieces and stepdaughters. He was predeceased by his parents Norma and Jack Blackman and his sister Paula Blackman.
