Hi Grandma. I’m missing you as always and hope you know how much I think of you, and how much I love you.
We were privileged to have spent time with Leslie over many years. From our working together to make Sarah’s Halloween costume (photo below), to spending a little time with her several weeks before her death, my husband and I enjoyed a number of wonderful opportunities to realize what a special person she was. The world lost a bit of its brightness with her passing, and she will be missed on many levels.

I met Leslie shortly after I moved here. At Water Aerobics, she introduced herself and she easily made me feel welcome. She is a gem, better than diamonds. She is a trooper. She is loved dearly by so many. My condolences to her family and the many who loved her. My donation to Susan G. Komen will be dedicated to Leslie.

Grandma, I miss you more than I can even express. I can’t believe almost 2 weeks have passed since I last talked to you. I will miss our weekly calls more than anything, just getting to hear what you’d been up to and getting to tell you what we’d been doing as well. I know it made you so happy to know I was finally happy. I keep listening to all of the voicemails you left me throughout the years. You were and are the most amazing person - so loving, so caring, and always putting a smile on everyone’s faces. To know you was a very special thing. Thank you for being such a light in my life. I love you and will always be missing you.
