Leslie Sue Novick's Obituary
Leslie S. Novick, was born on June 4, 1949 in Brooklyn, NY to Harold Buchholz and Pearl Cohen Buchholz
She was married to Harold Novick on April 25, 1971.
Leslie is survived by her husband, three loving daughters: Andrea (Kurt) Loson, Amy (Brian) Shea, Jessica Novick (Cory Toth), her beloved grandchildren: Lindsay and Jacob Loson, Daniel, Matthew and Aiden Shea, and Sarah Pearl and Benjamin Novick-Toth, brother Jay (Catherine) Buchholz, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
Leslie was predeceased by her parents and brother, Steven, who we envision are all dancing together in heaven.
Leslie was a spitfire that could light up any room she entered. She radiated positivity and was a source of inspiration for many. She never met a stranger and to know her was to love her. She had a fun-filled social life, loved to dance, play Mah Jongg and cards. She cherished her many friends, excelled at keeping in touch and making people feel important.
Leslie bravely fought multiple health battles with strength, courage and dignity. The bravest battle she fought was the one she chose - sobriety. She had 55 days under her belt as of October 11th and she would want everyone to know it. She gave us all the greatest gift, of time and love and we will forever be grateful. We are proud of her for her many accomplishments and we hope to make her proud by carrying on as she would have. May her memory be a blessing.
