Mario Petti was the the most magnificent man. He was a gifted physician and helped people all his life with the best guidance and judgement.. He gave to all with a quiet calm and his level of understanding and compassion made him a great humanitarian.
He had a visual disability but he developed extra sensory perceptions that made him function better than most people with excellent sight. He could repair anything, park a car, and see things other people missed. He was always helping others and was incredibly independent for a man who survived many medical struggles. He loved people and everyone loved him. My mother, Lucille Makstein, loved him so much. They found love ,laughter and friendship and had 18 beautiful years together. Everyone in our family cherished him. We all will miss his goodness in our lives. Cathy Levy-Jacob
