Some of my fondest memories are of Marlene telling us stories about her upbringing in Chicago, talking about her parents and what a wonderful sense of humor they had! Marlene was one of the kindest people I have ever met, and I feel blessed for having known her. I will miss her very much.

“Sis” was a welcoming person. Her nature was to enjoy the company of others and engage them in the spirit of the moment. Together with Reynold, she embraced family & friends alike with kindness and clarity. We will miss her but have many wonderful memories, including the extraordinary Seders at Passover. All who knew “Sis” will remember her love of family, calm demeanor and carefully crafted wit. She is forever placed in our memory as a one of a kind, thoughtful and loving soul whose zest for life was ever-present. Sherri & Bill Callan
Marlene was a second mom to me. She and my mom became great friends and loved spending time together shopping, lunches and more shopping. Marlene will always hold a special place in my heart. Now she and my mom can continue shopping and cooking for the holidays.
