Pat was larger than life. I knew her as a child and young adult, and I would listen to the conversations between Pat and my mom, her friend. The one important thing I learned from Pat is to give compliments where they are due, because it costs us nothing to make others feel good. There are so many holiday memories, and visits to remember. Pat made everyone feel welcome anywhere. She is loved, and will be missed, but I will always see her in her wool poncho and huge gold necklace and perfect makeup when I think of her. She is still with us and can never be truly gone. She has touched so many lives.
