Dana and Renae,
We truly are so sorry we could not be there with you to honor Aunt Selma's memory, but you both did a fabulous job of sharing her spirit, vibrance, creativity and love of life. She was such a wonderful person and I treasure the memories over my lifetime. I still laugh sometimes thinking about when she and Uncle Herbie came to visit right after Jeremy and Zach were born. She walked in and did not even say hi. She went right to their carseats and showed them (they were just born) the adorable onesies she made for them. She was always bedazzling and creating.
She loved to dance and I was in awe of her at Jill's Bat Mitzvah (just getting married) and doing her zumba moves and shaking her booty on the dance floor. She had two amazing men as husbands.
Her love for you both, for uncle Herbie, for Norm, Ruby, Phoebe and Michael, and for my family was special. I loved hearing HIYA.
It was a true blessing that she was able to spend the last few years so close to you and especially these last few months. Although we did not get to see her recently, you and she were always in my thoughts. I know she is at rest now, but she will be greatly missed. Her memory will live on as a blessing to all!
Love you both...
With deepest condolences and prayers for peace and comfort,
Stacey
